B-Schutt Lycospora and Laser Tag Camaraderie Scholarship
Set up by a group of Dordt University alumni roommates, this scholarship will be awarded to someone who excels in community building and is making a significant contribution to campus life by generating camaraderie. As part of the application process, the applicant must submit an illustration of how they have contributed to the community or camaraderie at Dordt University. Examples include a short video, craft, poem, picture, song, or dance. An essay is not permitted. In the donors’ words: "Spontaneous or informal community building and camaraderie that fall within the guidelines of the Student Code of Conduct Handbook (campus mini-golf in the library, pranks in good taste (where all parties, including maintenance and administration enjoy said prank), dorm dance parties, dinner costume parties with the ladies or gents across the way, etc.) will be given more weight than formal activities (student forum, student activities committee, clubs).
